Description

The RF-800-P Range Feeder has been designed with the body-and-rain-shield-interlocking system of all of our other large range feeders, making this range feeder waterproof. The interlocking system eliminates the use of any caulking or other adhesives. The KUHL RF-800-P Range Feeder is constructed completely out of strong, very durable, UV heavy-duty plastic with reinforced ridges on the side allowing it to handle up to 800 lbs. of feed depending on the type of used. The diameter of the shield measures 50″, which gives full coverage over the 42″ feeding pan. The design of the feeder includes a locking mechanism for the lid as well as for the rain/weathering shield. This newly designed mechanism for the lid securely connects the feeder lid to the top of the feeder which has an opening of 30″ for the filling of feed. This practically eliminates any chance of the lid blowing off in extremely windy environments. The new designed rain/weather shield has 4″ extended sides to accommodate regions with particularly strong winds. The extended side of the rain/weather shield helps to prevent winds from wasting valuable feed as well helping to prevent the feed from getting wet in rainy conditions. A complete set of instructions is supplied with each unit to provide trouble-free installation. The feed adjustment, being located in between the pan and the body, completely eliminates the need of metal legs. The desired feed height can be obtained by directly mounting the feeder body to the pan at the ideal feed flow level. The KUHL 800 lb. Range Feeder has the largest feeding pan capacity, the largest fill space opening, and is of the strongest construction than any competitorĀ“s in this size feeder.
